Causes of Acne

There are a lot of factors that cause acne most of which, even now, are not fully understood. Here are some of the most common.

Stress – This plays a big role in the development of your acne. The body releases chemicals and hormones that will turn into toxins and waste when it becomes tense and it will need to expel them. Some of these will end up being expelled through the skin and this will help to contribute towards the acne problem.

Hormones -  These play a big role in the development of acne. The early teenage years bring about many changes to the body and those changes will often cause repeated breakouts of pustules, pimples and even cysts. The adult years are no different especially for women. Premenstrual  and menopausal problems can cause acne problems for a lot of women. Hormone related acne produces extra oil, so products that help to reduce or eliminate oil will be the best for this type of acne.

Skin care products and cosmetics – It is important to choose the right products for your skin. Using the incorrect product will contribute to your acne. Using oily products on oily skin will only make it worse so you must check that the products match your skin type.

Chocolate – There are those that still believe that chocolate and sweet goods are a contributing factor to acne. The subject is still widely researched and debated. A lot of experts say that it has nothing to do with acne but they can not be 100% certain.

The lifestyle you live and the environment you live in are both contributing factors to what causes acne and pimples. You need to learn how to take care of your skin , keep it moisturized, hydrated and learn how to reduce the factors that will cause your acne attacks
